Ứng dụng theo lĩnh vực

• mechanical: Heat from a machine tool's motor and hydraulics warmed the cutting zone and threw dimensions off. Moving the heat sources out of the machine body keeps the cutting zone at a steady temperature.
• software: Making users download the whole app up front slows the first launch and drives them away. Only what the first screen needs is sent first; the rest loads when used.
• medical: Taking a whole herb brewed as tea brings along useless compounds and gives uneven effects. Extracting and purifying the active compound alone allows an exact dose.
• everyday: Cooking smoke and grease odor spread through the whole home. A hood right above the stove draws them off where they form and sends them outside.
